We just got the letter from the insurance company saying they'd cover 80% of my surgery costs. That means this thing is really happening. I'm quite scared, even though I have a long time before my surgery.
Hello, there. People call me "B". I'm fifteen years young, and have had braces for two agonizing years. Sometime in the near future I will be undergoing a corrective jaw surgery to fix my bite. It will involve the surgeon breaking my jaw, moving the upper jaw forward, the lower jaw back, and rotating the lower jaw slightly. (I have what they call a "fishtail".) Anyway, I created this blog to document my journey through the process.
